A current Tesla employee is speaking out about the culture of racism and discrimination at Elon Musk’s company.

The individual, whose identity we agreed to protect to avoid company reprisal, says majority-Black departments are called the “plantation,” “ghetto” & “slave ship.”

More than 100 former & current employees say they’ve faced racism at Tesla, including repeated use of the n-word, demeaning assignments and barriers to promotions, and Tesla has been ordered to pay more than $170 million in damages and payments to multiple former Black workers.

Tesla has retaliated against Black workers who spoke up.
