Building power for working people

Working Americans create the wealth. The powerful extract it.
It’s time to change the rules.

EVERY DAY,

WORKING AMERICANS POWER THE ECONOMY.

We stock the shelves, deliver the packages, care for the sick, and build the products that generate billions in profits. Yet while we work harder than ever, a small group of billionaires and corporations capture more and more of the value we create.

In 2023, the average CEO of an S&P 500 company made 272 TIMES more than their median worker.
This means that by noon on January 3rd, many CEOs had already earned what their average employee will make all year.

In 2018, Amazon paid $0 in federal income taxes on more than $11 billion in profits and actually received a $129 million tax rebate.

Between 2000 and 2019, approximately 5 million manufacturing jobs were lost in the United States due to outsourcing abroad, while corporate profits hit all-time highs.

THE PATTERN IS CLEAR.

This isn’t about individual bad actors—it’s about a rigged system. When working people create value, those at the top extract it. When we need support, they cut it. When they need help, they get bailouts.
