One of the largest unions in the U.S. and Canada, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, is holding an election to vote in new leadership. The outgoing president James Hoffa, Jr., is stepping down after more than 20 years at the helm. Whoever leads the union into next year will take on the challenge of the Teamsters’ push to organize Amazon workers and gain back membership in a difficult landscape.
