Building power for working people

Orlando Airport Workers Are Fighting Back Against Overwork And Underpayment

Wheelchair attendants at Florida’s Orlando airport went on a one-day strike.

The workers who push wheelchairs for American Airlines, United Airlines, and others are dangerously overworked, underpaid, and understaffed. They make just $7.98/hour and don’t get sick leave or time off.

Workers in Orlando walked off the job on a one-day strike to demand basic rights.
