Building Power for the Working Class
More Perfect Union’s advocacy journalism mission is built on a simple credo: “Building power for the working class.” Here’s what that means:
We speak directly to young, working class Americans where they are online by reporting on the real struggles and challenges of the working class from a working class perspective, and we attempt to connect those problems to potential solutions.
We report on the abuses and wrongdoing of corporate power, and we seek to hold accountable the ultra-rich who have too much power over America’s political and economic systems.
Our work seeks to embolden and empower the working class to engage in building our democracy for the betterment of all working Americans.

Where we’re headed
Our goal at More Perfect Union is to bring more original reporting that matters to the American workers who exist outside the progressive media bubble. Our editorial independence ensures that we can build an authentic relationship with people who do not feel that typical news and political coverage center their needs and concerns.
We truly appreciate your financial support to help us sustain and expand our work.
